Thus the conception and realization of the projects results from the mutual support of the participating partners. A large majority of them are traveling presentations and thereby reach a wide European public.

Par ailleurs, une table ronde sur le thème de « L’art vidéo en Turquie » sera organisée, en collaboration avec l’École supérieure des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg (26 novembre 2009 au Parc des expositions du Wacken, horaire à confirmer). apollonia est une association de droit local créée en 1998, faisant suite au travail conduit à partir de 1994 par le Conseil de l’Europe dans le cadre du Programme d’Echanges Artistiques Européens. Aujourd’hui, apollonia se définit comme une plate-forme de coopération dans le domaine des arts visuels entre les pays européens et plus spécifiquement avec les pays d’Europe centrale et orientale, les Balkans, les pays Baltes et du Caucase du Sud. apollonia est une structure autonome dont le fonctionnement repose sur une coopération étroite avec d’autres partenaires européens, intra et extra-communautaires. Ainsi, la conception et la réalisation des projets se font grâce à l’appui des partenaires impliqués. La grande majorité des manifestations sont itinérantes touchant un large public européen.
